Birds April 15th - 21st

Day 105. Not sure which kind of bird this is, Its from reference on Google images but I can't rember what I searched for, probably just 'bird'

Day 106. Same thing here, I think it was some kind of hawk but it came out a bit 'dove like.'

Day 107. Hawk with a slight egyptian feel to it.

Day 108. Sort of a cross between an eagle and a vulture!

Day 109.  Flying peace Dove with clouds and sunrays.

Day 110. A pair of Lovebirds.

Day 111. Another japanese type phoenix, a bit better this one I feel.

Birds April 8th - 14th

Day 98. Nice simple eagle, always makes a nice silhouette.

Day 99. A bit of a biker style design.

Day 100. Japanese style phoenix, pretty much just copied from reference.

Day 101. Trying to do a more tattoo friendly style design.

Day 102. Trying to get a nice flow on some swallows.

Day 103. Japanese style crane, pretty much copied from reference.

Day 104. Quick humming bird sketch from reference.

Birds April 1st - 7th

Day 91. Just some basic swallows, proper tattoos.

Day 92. Eagle flying with spread wings.

Day 93. Eagle with spread wings. A more classic tattoo style.

Day 94. Attempt at a crow, and not a very good one at that. Will come back to this subject and hopefully do better.

Day 95. Simple graphic style eagle, swooping. Not bad, not brilliant.

Day 96. There really are no excuses for this, but here goes my excuses. I'd been a Godfather to my 2 nephews this day, all day, then I got home and had a friends birthday out to go to that night.I totally forgot about doing a sketch, so in the 5 minutes before my taxi came and the half hour i was still awake after drinking 9 pints of bitter once I was home this sorry excuse of a sketch was brought into the world. I can't apologise enough.

Day 97. Phoenix. Attempt at a japanese style phoenix, its a bit cartoony but I'm quite happy with it.

April - BIRDS

Aprils theme is going to be birds.

I think I got a bit better at doing snakes last month so hopefully this month will help me improve on my bird drawings.

Here's to April.

Snakes March 22nd - 31st

Day 81. Snake with bamboo, based around some old flash I had.

Day 82. Snake eating its own tail, with roses.

Day 83 Couple of different snake heads.

Day 84. I think I'm getting a bit better at a more flowing style, but I'm getting a bit sick of drawing snakes now.

Day 85. Snake with wings. some days are just not the best days!

Day 86. Nice simple snake would be good with a few flowers and a bit of background.

Day 87. Snake with a geisha girl, used reference for the geisha.

Day 88 Snake with a skull, used a reference for the snakes layout as I'm not always sure I'm getting it correct, not sure its correct here but it looks OK to me.



Day 89.  Snake. thankfully its nearly the end of the month, I feel I'm just redoing the same thing over and over again.

Day 90. Snake with easter egg for easter sunday. Hooray end of the month!!
