Japanese Masks September 22nd - 30th

Day 265. Hannya mask with waves design. A bit messy this one again from the soft pencil.

Day 266. Hannya mask with maple leaf and wind tattoo design.

Day 267. Half hannya mask half skull tattoo design.

Day 268. Hannya mask design, Not the best one I've done this month.

Day 269. Geisha with hannya mask on fan design. Slightly different from the one I did earlier this month.

Day 270. Hannya mask with waves tattoo design.

Day 271. Hannya mask with snake tattoo design.

Day 272. Hannya/ Noh mask I thought I'd try something a little different.

Day 273. Hannya mask with wind, waves and peony design. Well thats it for September, I've really enjoyed this month.

Japanese Masks September 15th - 21st

Day 258. Japanese Noh mask with chrysanthemum tattoo design. The sketch is looking a little bit grubby as I shaded with a very soft pencil and as the days go by the sketches I've used a soft pencil on tend to get a bit smudged up.

Day 259. Hannya mask design.

Day 260. Japanese Noh theatre mask.

Day 261. Hannya with peonies and wave tattoo design.

Day 262. Hannya mask tattoo design.

Day 263. Japanese Noh mask tattoo design with wind and cherry blossom background.

Day 264. Hannya with flames. A very poor effort here I must admit but its still a sketch.

Day 251.Geisha with hannya mask and fan tattoo design.

Day 252. Japanese mask with peony and cherry blossom.

Day 253. Hannya mask with lightning background tattoo design.

Day 254. Japanese mask with snake tattoo design.

Day 255. Hannya/Dragon tattoo design. Not too sure how well one half reads as a dragon, but it was something different to do.

Day 256. Geisha with veil and hannya mask design.

Day 257. Japanese Hannya mask tattoo design.

Japanese Masks September 1st - 7th

Day 244. Straight forward Hannya mask, referenced from an actual mask. There is probably not going to be a lot to say about these sketches they are all going to be pretty much of a muchness.

September - JAPANESE MASKS

Septembers theme is going to be Japanese Masks, I would imagine is is going to mainly consist of Hannya Masks but I hope to throw in a few other Noh masks along the way.
